  3. Declining membership

What are the three issues facing The Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Maryland that are important to and/or significant for you?

  1. Awareness of a need for tolerance and acceptance of all viewpoints as well as a need of development of Young Adults and Youth Ministry.
  2. Improvement of communications from diocesan center to parishes to promote diocesan programs; i.e., activities, training opportunities, retreats; especially for those parishioners who do not have e-mail.
  3. Holding Diocesan Conventions during school/work week, preventing attendance by working parishioners.

Note: The above represents a “summary” from those 26 members who participated in this survey. These results were forwarded to the diocese. ---- summarized by Mary Beth Dent
