Meet Our Clergy

The Rev. Diana E. Carroll, Rector

The Rev. Diana E. Carroll joined the St. Luke's Community as Priest-in-Charge in February 2012 and became Rector on August 1, 2013.

Diana+ is a native of Crystal Lake, Illinois, and grew up in the Episcopal Church. She holds an undergraduate degree in English from Kenyon College and a Master of Divinity from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale. Diana+ entered the ordination process in the Diocese of Ohio during her time at Kenyon. Between college and seminary, she worked at a drop-in center for the homeless through the Lutheran Volunteer Corps in Tacoma, Washington. Diana+ was ordained to the transitional diaconate in June 2008 and to the priesthood in January 2009. From 2008 until the end of 2011, she served as Assistant to the Rector at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia.

Diana+ also serves as part-time Chaplain at St. Anne's School of Annapolis.  She resides in Annapolis with her wife, the Rev. Sarah Lamming, who is the Associate Rector for Formation at St. Andrew's Church in College Park, Maryland. 

The Rev. Mary Fish Walton, Deacon

Deacon Mary
The Rev. Mary Fish Walton is a cradle Episcopalian. She was ordained to the diaconate in the Diocese of Oklahoma in 1994 after many years of teaching languages and starting a family with her husband, Daniel. Mary+ has a B.A. in Humanities from the Colorado Woman's College in Denver, CO and has completed postgraduate work at Virginia Tech and the University of Nebraska. Mary+ has served as a deacon at Trinity Episcopal Church in Tulsa, OK, St. John's Episcopal Church in Chester, VA, and Old St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Baltimore, MD. In 2004, she was appointed Chaplain at the St. Paul's School for Girls, Brooklandville, MD. She remained in that position until she moved to Annapolis, where she now resides. Mary+ and Daniel have two grown children who live and work in the D.C. area.
